CROWN THINNING & CROWN LIFTING IN CHESHIRE
Crown thinning and crown lifting are specialist tree pruning techniques used to improve light, airflow and clearance while retaining the tree’s natural shape. Crown thinning selectively removes branches throughout the canopy, while crown lifting, sometimes called crown raising, removes selected lower branches. Hartford Tree Care provides careful, professional crown work across Hartford, Northwich and Cheshire.

We've had Ollie carry out tree work for us in Wilmslow multiple times. Around 10 huge conifers removed and the stumps ground out. Ollie has also crown lifted and reduced / shaped some large trees for us. The trees were covered by a TPO and Ollie dealt with all the Cheshire East Council paperwork for us- which was fantastically helpful, a great service.

I would highly recommend Oliver and his team, Alex and Tim, who lifted the crown of a large conifer. Oliver gave us excellent advice when he came to see the job and we are delighted with the result. This is a friendly, professional team who arrive on time, work hard and leave the premises spotless, clearing up every last branch. I will have no hesitation in using Oliver’s Tree Care again in the future.
